Senja Alternative: When EmbedProof Fits Your Workflow
A good alternative should match the work you need to do: collect a response, manage permission, approve the quote and display it reliably. A lower headline price does not establish feature parity.

What Senja currently advertises
Senja advertises a free plan for 15 video and text testimonials. Its pricing page lists Starter at $29 per month on the monthly view, with unlimited testimonials, three forms, one project and two seats. Pro adds more projects and team capacity.

Where EmbedProof fits
EmbedProof Free includes one widget, 10 testimonials, Grid and Masonry layouts, and a branding badge. Pro is $19 billed monthly or $180 billed annually ($15 per month equivalent), with unlimited testimonials, additional layouts and branding removal. EmbedProof does not record or host video testimonials.
EmbedProof may fit if your workflow is collect, approve and embed text testimonials, and its layouts suit your site. Senja allows more testimonials on its advertised free plan, so switching solely to increase a free allowance would not make sense.
When to keep evaluating Senja
Senja is worth evaluating when you need video collection, testimonial imports, social assets or several collection forms. Those needs are different from adding a small set of approved text quotes to a website. Check the exact import source and plan you need before deciding.
Before moving an existing testimonial library
- List the collection forms, live embeds, media files, integrations and team access you currently use.
- Export the content you are entitled to reuse. Preserve attribution, publication consent and source links; do not assume a quote approved for one context can be reused everywhere.
- Import or add a small sample to a test widget. Check quote text, author details, photos and moderation before publishing.
- Preview the replacement on desktop and mobile, including keyboard use. Verify the published page after replacing the embed.
- Keep the original service available until you have confirmed that every intended replacement works.
This is a switching checklist, not a promise of a one-click migration. Video, custom integrations and vendor-specific metadata may need a different home.
